After living through 30 years of cannabis trends here, in the mecca of cannabis in the country, it's always a pleasure to see that misinformation doesn�t influence public opinion. For a while, many people believed that purple cannabis was caused by nutritional deficiencies or artificially dyed, but as passionate cannabis breeders, we�ve always known that cannabis has many expressions, including the vibrant purple and pink tones present in our brand-new Purpz variety. These colors come from anthocyanin, the same natural chemical compound found in blueberries and grapes. Anthocyanin is an antioxidant, and contrary to rumors, it has no effect on potency.

Purpz is a highly productive variety with intense purple colors, strong fuel terpenes, and an incredible appearance even after mechanical trimming. The flowers are dense and develop into easy-to-trim sizes, similar to golf balls. The plants grow tall and are resistant to mold and fungi. During 2023 tests, Purpz was the highest-yielding rosin variety, averaging 5%, and took first place in the "The Leaf Bowl," the largest indoor cannabis competition in Oregon.
