Description
Electric duct heaters are designed to heat the mass of air conveyed through the inlet ducts of your grow room.
Design:
The heater body is in galvanized steel and the resistances are in stainless steel;
the heaters are equipped with rubber gaskets for connection to the air ducts.
NK duct heaters are equipped with two thermostats for protection against overheating: the basic protection provides for automatic restart when 50 ? C is exceeded ... after cooling, restart takes place automatically;
the emergency protection is triggered when 90 ? C is reached and provides for manual restart.
Assembly:
The design of the heater allows it to be inserted in any position inside the duct and can be installed in any position except with the electrical cables / control unit facing downwards in contact with water or humidity to avoid short circuit or penetration of the water.
An air filter should be installed at the heater insert to protect the resistances from pollution. The minimum distance between the heater and the other elements of the system must not be less than twice the diameter of the heater.
The heaters are designed for a minimum air flow of 1.5 m / s and a maximum outside temperature of 40 ? C. T. If you use aspirators with speed control make sure that the minimum air-flow is respected.
When the vacuum cleaner is not in operation, the heater should be unplugged from the electrical outlet.
